quality depends on usual variables.

file size unaffected. but if you capture and compress at 160×120 and
blow that up to 1024 x whatever then expect it to look poor. however
you can present the movie double size (so 360 x 240) and if you
compress properly can be pretty good, also present full screen also
means:

"make screen go black
and
play my video at the size i specified"

so i can present a movie at 320 x240, wil stay that size but be
surrounded by black. just like th emovies. …
