I haven't seen Rocketboom yet, let alone know how it operates,=
but I
have to jump on this one. Why can't a professional actress be an
ind=
ividual with her own things to say? Just because she manages a
smoother del=
ivery than those who are not professionally-trained, she's
automatically su=
spected of being a corporate stooge? As we all become
more familiar and com=
fortable with talking in front of a camera, we'll
all become smoother, just=
as you become a better writer by writing.

Some people consider it more "a=
uthentic" and "immediate" to throw up
text onto a blog or webpage without b=
enefit of standard spelling,
grammar, or punctuation. <shrug> Everyone's go=
t the right to do that
if they like, but I personally consider it lazy writ=
ing and a
discourtesy to the reader. Similarly, it is easier to take in the=

point someone's trying to make in a video when you're not distracted
by sh=
aky camera work, hems and haws, annoying voice mannerisms, or
whatever (ano=
ther reason I don't feature myself in my videos!). Does
good delivery make =
your point less valid or authentic than anyone
else's point?
