I guess my criticism is that it seems to me that they are thinking about simply grafting existing models of TV onto this medium, kind of like the discussion about that "Internet of Video" quote from last week — a new way to sell the same shit.

What it doesn't seem like they're thinking about is empowering those who are already doing this, such as contributing to some of the things we're doing here, or other people from indymedia and elsewhere are doing.

It also doesn't seem like they're addressing some of the technical concerns (yet, I hope) that would create an emerging conversational system — things like syndication/aggregation, comment/trackbacks, metadata for searching, creative commons licesing, etc… It seems to me that they are just blogging with links to a good (actually not that good, but maybe its my conneection/browser) streaming server.
