I don't know what I did to get this kind of bad karma. After my FTP
program died completely on me yesterday I used a different program to
upload to the uni's server, but apparently it didn't change the file
permissions like it said it did.

I just did it again now, and everything should work now.

Nope, the script cleans up after itself so if something fails nothing is
saved. Can I ask you to try again?
